About Us
Young, motivated decorators bringing colour and care to every project.
Different Shades was started by three friends with one simple idea: to build our future by doing work that makes people happy in their homes. At just 20 years old, we’re a young but dedicated team with a passion for painting and decorating. Some of us are currently training at the Construction Skills Academy, learning professional techniques in painting, decorating and other trades. Others bring years of DIY and hands-on experience, from painting walls and doors to handling repairs. Together, we’re combining skills, drive, and teamwork to create a business built on reliability, respect, and results.
Our Story
This all started with a conversation about our futures. We realised we shared the same vision: to create something of our own, where hard work and passion could turn into real results. Since then, we’ve worked together on jobs for family and friends — bedrooms, living rooms, even whole home refreshes — and every time, we’ve proved we can deliver. Quick, efficient, and respectful, we make sure our work speaks for itself.
